I am a sound designer and engineer working in theatre, concerts, events, and more. I currently freelance in New York City and northeast New Jersey.
Last winter, I designed Pass Over at Luna Stage in West Orange, New Jersey. I currently produce a podcast about disabilities in the arts, and provide freelance voice-over narration. I completed my BFA at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama in 2019, where I designed sound for our production of Cabaret. After graduating, I travelled to the 2019 Prague Quadrennial where I was a Featured Designer in the Emerging/Student Exhibition for my design from Alkestis. I am also an advocate for sustainable practices in the arts and beyond.
I have had a passion for music and performance from a young age and have always been curious about what's happening behind the scenes. I grew up learning an assortment of percussion instruments, and loved planning events such as haunted houses or the magic shows that I would create for friends and family. My experience working with sound began with school plays and running my own mobile DJ business. In high school I was fortunate to design sound for a number of productions which helped me realize that I should pursue a career in sound. Over the years I have gained experience designing and running sound for plays, musicals, concerts, dance shows, events, fundraisers, fashion shows, immersive experiences... you get the idea.
As a designer I am drawn to creating experiences that engage, educate, and uplift audiences. Let's make something awesome together.
